The Hiking and Mountaineering Club

With Prof. Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Sahib as its president, the college hiking and mountaineering club was one of the most active clubs in the country. Almost every year a team of hikers, led by Chaudhry Mohammad Ali himself, used to go to a Himalyan region for a mountaineering expedition. Although the Principal Hazrat Sahibzada Mirza Nasir Ahmad did not personally participate, he would always provid a camera, get the slides made and personally watch where his students had been. Kaghan, Naran, Saifaul Maluk, K2 and were popular areas chosen for these visits. It is unfair to name only a few of the hikers known to me, but something is better than nothing, so I mention only some of the names. Mohammad Ahmad Hami, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Chaudhry Mahmood Ahmad, Chaudhry Nazir Ahmad, Shahid Ahmad Saadi, Malik Zubair Ahmad, Malik Khalid Ahmad, Waseem Ahmad, Maazallah Bhatti, Hamid Ahmad. I wish Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Sahib, who founded, the rowing and hiking clubs in the college, and later took over Basketball from Prof. Naseer Ahmad Khan, and raised it to its peak, could write a detailed note on the the clubs. Later Chaudhry Sahib took over the college as its principal. Unfortunately I was no longer there in those days, but that was also a very crucial period in the history of the college. Can someone help me record the history of that period?
(Those who have participated in the hiking expeditions are requested to write a detailed account of the activities of the club.)
